INTRODUCTORY IDEA
Basics of IDEA. Topics
include how to stratify data files, test for gaps or duplicates, age,
extract and sample. Introduction to the simpler aspects of processing
multiple files and importing of the most common data types. Hands on
exercises and case studies over a two day period.

ADVANCED IDEA
Advanced topics including
IDEA's data manipulation "@ functions" and working with less
common types of data fields. Introduction to IDEAScript, the programming
language supplied with IDEA. Prior familiarization with IDEA is required.
Teaching style similar to Introductory course.

EFFECTIVE USE of IDEAScript
A two day course covering
automation of repetitive tasks, creation of local automated audit system,
OLE enabled software, creation of special tests and/or function, or
importation of files. Learn to record, edit, playback and debug a series of
routines and to create basic dialogue and message boxes to enhance user
interaction.
